Jeremiah 29:11-14
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the LORD, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.

Testimony: I actually came to know the Lord through the death of my mother. I began to have questions. "What happens after I die?" "Where do I go?" I was always a believer that when you died, you simply ceased to exist. I began to search for answers in the Scripture. The more I studied the Bible, the more I realized that after death I was either going to Heaven or to Hell. Taken the alternative, I didn't care to go to Hell, after reading about Hell. So, I decided that I needed to understand more about Christ. My wife and I became Christians and immediately noticed a change in our lives. I began to think, "Well money isn't everything," and I was a six-figure guy.

God said, "I want to do some changing in your life." I said, "No, you won't," and God siad, "Um, yes I will." I finally left the company I was working for and had a year of unemployment. During this year, I was able to get to know my kids. There was a period of time where I never really knew my kids. I knew that they lived at the house and I'd see them when I came home from work, but my focus was always on the job. Not only was I able to get to know my children, but I really got to know God during this time. My wife and I prayed about and decided to move back to California. I came up here with no job, not knowing where I was going, totally dependent on the Lord to provided something. I got a call from my old boss who offered me a job and after praying about it, decided to take it. God told me that I would only be at this job for two years, and exactly two years later, I quit my job, walking away from an all expense paid life. Everyone thought I was crazy, because not only was I well taken care of, but I was also going to be promoted to President over an entire company. My wife and I knew that it was God's will for us to leave though, and we knew that His plan was better for us than any plan we could think of. After I came to California, I got a job working for Hal Lindsey. Pastor Gary asked me to sit on the board at Revival in 2000 and it's been awesome to see the hand of God blessing Revival.
