Testimony: October 19, 1990 when I was 19, I was invited to a play about Revelation by a couple of guys I had recently hired at a restaurant. During the play God spoke to me twice and when they gave the altar call I went forward. The next couple of years I was really “on-fire” in my walk. But like some, I slowly started to fall away. I still went to church but never got out of the pew. Little by little I fell farther away. My walk became dead, my wife lost both of her parents, and I had reached the point where I hated just about everything, especially myself. I weighed 379 pounds, I was a trash man and worst of all I had known the love of Jesus but was choosing to try to live without Him. In 2003 we decided it was time to come back to church. We wanted to see Chuck and Laurie Woodward and having heard that Pastor Gary was around my age, had been married for about the same amount of time and had 2 daughters, I hoped his teaching would at least relate to where I was in life. So we decided to come to RCF. Then on February 9, 2003 I re-dedicated my life to Jesus. A few months later both of my daughters got saved and then I realized it was time to get out of the pews and start serving the Lord. Since then our life has been blessed beyond belief. If you aren’t serving the Lord, you don’t know what you’re missing!
