1 Chronicles 28:9, The book of James
"As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever."

Testimony: I was not raised in a Christian home. My parents divorced when I was 13. I lived with my mom and in my lack of having a father figure; I rebelled and sought my own way to learning about life. I made many mistakes in that pursuit of the meaning of life, which lead to bad acquaintances, drugs, alcohol, and immoral relationships. But God would not give up on me. In 1992 my neighbor, Pete Mungo, invited me to CCM’s first Easter sunrise service. The love of God was manifested through the people I came in contact with. I was drawn back to Revival over and over again.

The first Harvest Crusade I went to in 1993 (well I actually didn’t go), I made excuses because I was still practicing sin through drinking alcohol and smoking pot. But God had a different plan. That Saturday of the crusade, I turned on the radio in my garage and at that moment, Greg Laurie was giving the alter call. The Holy Spirit moved upon my heart and I sat on the hood of my car and gave my life to the Lord. He has taken away the desire to drink and do drugs. He is my joy and fulfillment; He has changed my life and continues to do so (Philippians 1:6). Praise Him!
