Testimony: In my hometown in upstate New York there are at least 10 Catholic churches (it seems as though there is one on every block!) The town's population is only 18,000. So my spiritual roots were in the Catholic Church. I always enjoyed going to church, and remember going to various Catholic shrines, yet deep down I always thought that there was something more that God wanted to show me. I met my first Born Again person in my senior year of high school. Initially I thought that this person was way too fanatical about God...then the Lord sent more born again believers into my life and I realized that they all had something that I didn't have,a Personal Savior. When I realized this, I prayed a prayer and asked the Lord permission not to end it, but to allow me to have a life that could be offered up as a living prayer. He has honored that, and I think Him everyday for His grace.
